Gloria Gammer is an Austrian filmmaker and artist. Her work examines the triangular relationship between human, technology and non-human organic others.
Her work has been shown internationally at film festivals and in art contexts, including the Ars Electronica Festival (AT), Diagonale Festival for Austrian film, the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna (AT), 25fps Int. Experimental Film and Video Festival (HR), Kortfilmfestival Leuven (BE), Images Festival (CA), Festival de Cine Global (RD) and File Festival (BR) with awards from Athens Int. Film+Video Festival (US) amongst others.
Gammer has realized commissions by GO!2025 European Capital of Culture and OÖ Kultur Expo 2024.
She has served as a jury member for Züricher Filmstiftung and was a panelist at Kurzfilmtage Winterthur’s Industry Lab and B3 Festival for the Moving Image Frankfurt.
